April 7, 2019, Hike and Air and Space Museum Visit, Washington DC, Sunday 9:30am
You are invited to join Bruce McBarnette, alumni from Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, Brown, Dartmouth, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Wellesley, Vassar, Smith, and Stanford; Rotary Club members; and friends on a hike and a visit to the Air and Space Museum.
9:30am we will meet at the front door to the Air and Space Museum, 600 Independence Ave, SW Washington,DC 20560, and hike around the National Mall for 50 minutes.
10:30am we will visit the Air and Space Museum.
12:30pm to 2pm Bruce has arranged free energy sessions for us at a wellness center, called the Sukyo Mahikari Center. Many find this energy to be relaxing and revitalizing. The center is at 4479 Connecticut Ave, 2 blocks away from the Van Ness Metro station.
2pm to 3pm we have refreshments at the Italian Pizza Kitchen, 4483 Connecticut Ave which is also 2 blocks away from the Van Ness Metro Center.
Everything is free except the refreshments. You may bring up to 5 guests, but please do not bring guests under 18 years old. Bring water and footwear that supports your ankles well.

Air and Space Visit 2018
Saturday, March 16, 2019, Potomac Overlook Nature Hike, 8:30-11am
Join Princeton alumnus Bruce McBarnette Rotary Club members, alumni from Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, Univ. of Pennsylvania, MIT, Stanford, Wellesley, Vassar, Johns Hopkins; and friends on a free hike from Potomac Overlook Park to the Potomac River and back.

This 2.5 mile hike is moderate to slightly challenging with several stream crossings. We will hear a brief presentation about the geological forces which create the area's interesting rock and bolder formations. We will see the remains of a Native American settlement and visit the park's nature center.
Bring water and good hiking shoes.
