Join Bruce McBarnette, '80, other Princeton alumni, and friends at a gathering Bruce is hosting to celebrate his winning the World Masters Track and Field Championships in Daegu, Korea.
5:30pm to 7:00pm we will meet at the Toronto Sukyo Mahikari Center.
Bruce has arranged we can experience for free a positive energy called “light,” which a Mahikari practitioner can transmit to you through his or her hand held one foot away. Many people find the light relaxing and revitalizing.
7:15pm to 8:30pm we will meet at the Boston Pizza Kitchen, 5 Carlson Ct., Toronto, Tel: 416-676-9320.
It is a ten minute drive from the Sukyo Mahikari Center.

Saturday, July 8, 2017, US Capitol Tour at 9:10am.
You are invited to join Bruce McBarnette, alumni from Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, Brown, Dartmouth, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Wellesley, Vassar, Smith, and Stanford; Rotary Club members; and friends on a tour of the US Capitol and a reception.
We will meet between 8:35am and 8:50am in Emancipation Hall of the Visitor Center of the US Capitol, East Capitol Street NE and First Street SE, Washington, DC 20004, which is near the Capitol South Metro Station. If you come after 8:50am we can not guarantee you admission even if you register.
The tour takes about an hour. At 12pm we will enjoy refreshments at the Washington DC Center for Sukyo Mahikari, 4479 Connecticut Ave., Washington, DC. Some of us will receive a relaxing, revitalizing form of energy called “light” generated from the hands of Sukyo Mahikari practitioners. The center is 2 blocks away from the Van Ness Metro station. Everything including the pizza is free.

Bruce McBarnette is having a party in Manhattan to celebrate his winning a gold medal and a bronze medal at the World Masters Track and Field Championships in Daegu, Korea. Classmates are invited to attend.
6pm Meet Bruce McBarnette at the Sukyo Mahikari Center, 124 East 31st Street, NY, NY 10016. He will be experiencing a positive energy called "light" transmitted from the hand of a Sukyo Mahikari practitioner. He has arranged that his guests can receive the same energy for free. Many people find the energy relaxing and calming. Sessions are free and can take as little as 10 minutes.
7:15pm We will meet at Hummus Kitchen, 444 3rd Ave, NY which is a short walk from the Sukyo Mahikari Center.
Bruce will treat people to appetizers. Everyone will pay separately for their own food and beverages.

Join Princeton alumnus Bruce McBarnette; John Hopkins Alumna Cathy Broad; alumni from Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, Univ. of Pennsylvania, MIT, Stanford, Wellesley, Vassar, Johns Hopkins; and friends on a free hike from Potomac Overlook Park to the Potomac River and back.

This 2.5 mile hike is moderate to slightly challenging with several stream crossings. We will hear a brief presentation about the geological forces which create the area's interesting rock and bolder formations. We will see the remains of a Native American settlement and visit the park's nature center.
Bring water and good hiking shoes.

You are invited to join Bruce McBarnette, alumni from Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, Brown, Dartmouth, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Wellesley, Vassar, Smith, and Stanford; Rotary Club members; and friends on a hike and a visit to the Air and Space Museum and a reception.
At 9am we will meet at the front door to the Air and Space Museum, 600 Independence Ave., SW Washington,DC 20560, and hike around the National Mall for 50 minutes.
At 10am we will visit the Air and Space Museum.
