This event celebrates Bruce McBarnette's winning the USA Masters Games, in Greensboro, NC last August.
Please come to Emancipation Hall at the Capitol Visitors Center no later than 8:40am to get your ticket from Bruce.
The tour takes about 45 minutes. At 11am we meet for refreshments at Uno's Pizzeria on the mezzanine level of Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Ave, NW, which is less than a quarter of a mile from the Capitol. Everyone will pay for their own refreshments.Reservations will be under Bruce's name. For the tour and Uno' Pizzeria, you may bring up to 2 people with you and children are welcome.

You are invited to join Bruce McBarnette, Princeton alumni, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, Univ. of Pennsylvania, MIT, Stanford, Wellesley, Vassar, NYU, and Kent School, Rotary Club members, and friends on a hike in Rock Creek Park. Bruce is organizing the hike to celebrate his winning the USA Masters Track and Field Championships in Grand Rapids, Michigan in July.
We will meet at the historic Pierce Mill at the intersection of Tilden Street and Rock Creek Parkway in Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC at 12pm. in Washington, DC. We will tour the Pierce Mill before we hike.
After the hike we visit the Washington DC Sukyo Mahikari Center, 4479 Connecticut Ave., Washington, DC. were we will enjoy pizza and refreshments and where some of us will receive a relaxing, revitalizing form of energy called “light” from Sukyo Mahikari practitioners.
The Pierce Mill is a 15 minute walk from the Van Ness Metro Stop.
The Sukyo Mahikari Center is two blocks from the Van Ness Metro stop and 18 minutes from the Pierce Mill.

Join Bruce McBarnette, Vice President and member of the Class of 1980, Class of 1980, Princeton alumni, and friends at the Dinner and Light Gathering July 25 5:30pm to 8:30pm. We will meet at 5:30pm at the Sukyo Mahikari Center at 860 E Mariposa Street, Altadena, CA, where we can experience at no cost a relaxing, revitalizing energy called “light. ” Members of Sukyo Mahikari will radiate the light to us through the palms of their hands which they will point in our direction from one foot away.
At 6:45pm we will leave the Sukyo Mahikari Center and travel to the Green Street Tavern, 69 West Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91105, where we will have dinner from 7pm to 8:30pm. Everyone will pay for his or her own bill. Green Street Tavern is a 10 minute drive from the Sukyo Mahikari Center.
The event celebrates Bruce's selection, in February 2016, by USA Track and Field as the 2015 Masters Athlete of the Year​ and his win last March at the 2016 USA National Master Track and Field Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We will meet at 10am at the British Embassy 3100 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington DC 20008;

arrive at 11:45am at the Embassy of Ireland, 2234 Massachusetts Ave.;
