5:30pm - 7:00pm Experience free light energy at Sukyo Mahikari Center is located at 310 Sutter Street.


7:15pm - 8:30pm Enjoy pizza at Del Popolo is located at 855 Bush Street.


Bruce will treat everyone to pizza. He has arranged for light energy practitioners to give free energy sessions of between 10 to 50 minute at a wellness center. Many find the energy to rejuvenating and relaxing. The center is a few blocks away from the Montgomery BART station.


The event celebrates Bruce McBarnette winning the USA Masters Track and Field Championships for his age group for the 40th time, most recently in Spokane, WA.

You are invited to join Bruce McBarnette, alumni from Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, Brown, Dartmouth, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Wellesley, Vassar, Smith, and Stanford; Rotary Club members; and friends on a tour of the US Capitol and a reception.


We will meet between 9:20am and 9:35am in Emancipation Hall of the Visitor Center of the US Capitol, East Capitol Street NE and First Street SE, Washington, DC 20004, which is near the Capitol South Metro Station. The tour takes about an hour. If you come after 9:35am we can not guarantee you admission even if you register.


From 12pm to 2pm Bruce has arranged free energy sessions for us at the Sukyo Mahikari Center. Many find this energy to be relaxing and revitalizing. The center is at 4479 Connecticut Ave, NW, Washington, DC, 20008, 2 blocks away from the Van Ness Metro station.


At 2:15pm we will have some free pizza at the Italian Pizza Kitchen, 4483 Connecticut Ave which is also 2 blocks away from the Van Ness Metro Center.

Bruce McBarnette and the Princeton Club invite you to a hike of Claude Moore Park.


We will meet at the Heritage Farm Museum, 21544 Old Vestal's Gap Road, Sterling, VA 20164 at 9am.

We will visit the museum for 20 minutes and hike for about 1 hour and 1/2. There is no cost.

After the hike we will enjoy free pastries at the Corner Bakery, 46290 Cranston Street, Sterling, VA 2065

Bring water and wear sturdy footwear. This will be an easy hike.

Join Bruce McBarnette, classmates, Princetonians, and friends for a Dinner and Light Gathering June 25 5:30pm to 8:30pm. We will meet at 5:30pm at the Sukyo Mahikari Center at 860 E Mariposa Street, Altadena, CA where Bruce has arranged for guests to receive at no cost an energy session that many find to be relaxing and revitalizing. Practitioners of Sukyo Mahikari will radiate the energy (called "light")  through the palms of their hands which they will hold one foot away from us.


At 6:45pm we will leave the Sukyo Mahikari Center and travel to the Green Street Tavern,  69 W Green St, Pasadena, CA 91105 , where we will have dinner from 7pm to 8:30pm. Everyone will pay for his or her own bill. The Green Street Tavern is 10 minutes by car from the Sukyo Mahikari Center.


The event celebrates Bruce's setting of a new world record in the high jump for men over 60 years old.  He set the record at the USA Track and Field Masters Indoor Championships in Landover, MD in March.

Join Bruce McBarnette, Princeton alumni, Ivy Social Club Members, Rotary Club members, Keller William agents, and friends as we celebrate Bruce's setting a new world record in the high jump for his age group at the USA Track and Field Masters Championships. March 17 2018,  USA Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships, Saturday 10:30am


Join Bruce McBarnette and friends as we watch the USA Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Prince George's Sports Complex on Sat. March 17. Bruce will compete in the high jump at 10:30am on Saturday and is the defending champion.


On Sat. between 10:30am to 12:30am, we will be sitting in bleachers across from the high jump pit on the side of the track that is furthest away from the main entrance. We will meet for refreshments at the Complex's cafe at 12:30pm.


The event is free to spectators and will feature the best athletes in the country between the ages of 30 and 100. There will be events on Sunday although we will not be gathering as a group.

At 9am we will meet at the Jefferson Drive entrance (mall side) to the Air and Space Museum, 600 Independence Ave., SW Washington,DC 20560, and hike around the National Mall for 50 minutes.


At 10am we will visit the Air and Space Museum.


Bring water and footwear that supports your ankles well.
