Art for Obama

Art for Obama Reception Series is a series of fund raising receptions for the Obama campaign organized around the country by Bruce McBarnette, art gallery owners, and other volunteers. During the 2008 campaign, there were Art for Obama receptions in 45 galleries and other venues in 11 cities in eight different states. The receptions raised over $55,000. In 2012 we will have even more receptions.

Art for Obama receptions are held at art galleries or other venues displaying art. Guests are invited to look at the art and make a contribution to the Obama campaign. We advertise the receptions on Facebook and on the Art for Obama Reception Series website, http://mcbarnette.com/obama, as well as on the Obama website. We are always looking for more people to help with communication with art galleries and with publicity.
