Bruce McBarnette, 51, of Loudoun County, set a U.S. record of 1.93 meters (6 feet, 4 inches) in the high jump for men ages 50-54 division July 10 at the USA Master National Track and Field Championships in Oshkosh, Wis. This was the 10th national record for McBarnette in his age group during the last two years. He will represent the country at the World Masters Championships this September in Finland.
